Senior Kindergarten Adventure Days

Age Range: 4.5-5 yrs.  Children must have completed a Junior Kindergarten program or the Junior Kinder Adventure Days program for the preceding school year.

Our Senior Kinder Adventure Days are offered one morning/afternoon a week from September until June. Included in the program are three – 13 week themes (descriptions below). No duty days or committee work are required and the program is led by a qualified Nursery School teacher at our Manotick location.

LITTLE PROFESSORS – children are introduced to the wonders of science. The program will include topics such as nature, archaeology, space travel and numerous daily hands on experiments.

COLOUR MY WORLD – The adventure continues as children continue exploring art and artists culminating in an Art Show for the families of our mini artists.

AROUND THE WORLD ADVENTURE – imagine your child “traveling” to a different country each week to explore the world through games, dress up activities, cooking, stories and music. Literacy and writing skills will be further developed through activities such as a travel diary, filling out “passport” applications, preparing packing lists and preparing airline tickets.
