About a Co-op
The active participation of parents within a nursery school has an important influence on the environment in which our children learn. Parents who take time to contribute to our school increase educational benefits to their children and to themselves. We believe that a co-operative nursery school provides the opportunity for education of its parent members as well as its children. Parenting benefits come from interacting with other parents as well as trained teaching staff. Our school provides opportunities to become an active part of your child’s first early education experiences, and we depend on time and energy from our members for our continued success.
When you register your child in a co-operative nursery school, you are choosing to play an active role in your child’s development and in maintaining and preserving a cherished program in our community. You also agree to comply with all of the nursery school regulations and to participate fully as a co-operative member as outlined in the Parent Participation form (part of the registration package).
